The following Terms and Conditions will set forth an agreement between Snap Space ("Provider") and the Customer ("Hirer") for the hire of the photo booth service. The Agreement is set as full and only agreement between the parties involved and supersedes all other written agreements whether written or oral.
HIRE & SERVICE PERIOD
The photo booth hiring service booked by the customer and agreed upon with Snap Space is final. Any request of extension on the day of the event, may be agreed under the discretion of Snap Space. In the event, the customer requests for any earlier set up time to be arranged, an idle fee may be applied for set up earlier than 1 hour to the designated hire start time.
Two trained attendants will be in supervision of the equipment at all times to ensure smooth operations.
The customer will be liable for any damages caused to the hired equipment within the duration of the hire, as well as during any idle time, set up or removable that is caused by a member of the event.
Snap Space will not be liable for failing to perform in any event beyond our reasonable control such as labour disturbance, internet/electrical outage, service disruption, communication outage failure by a service provided to us to perform, a fire emergency, act of discrimination or threatening.
PAYMENTS:
Prices are subject to change. The customer has the responsibility to refer to the final invoice provided from Snap Space. The Customer agrees to the Terms & Conditions if they pay any or the complete amount of the invoice.
An initial $200 non-refundable deposit, deducted from the total invoice, is required to secure the time and date of the event. The date cannot be secured, unless a deposit is received. The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to the day of the event. Snap Space will notify the customer when the remaining balance is due. Snap Space is not obligated to hire or operate the photo booth and any other services until full payment has been received. If a booking is made within 14 days of the event, a non-refundable full payment must be received 48 hours prior to the booking. Failure to complete payment will result in the cancellation of the customer's booking and the initial deposit of $200 will not be refunded.
ADDITIONAL CHARGES:
A travel surcharge will apply to events outside of a 30km radius from Sydney CBD. Travel fee will be added to the quotation.
At the request of the customer to extend the photo booth booking time for an additional hour, an additional charge of $200 will be applied. Subject to prior agreement with Snap Space to extend the booking time.
At the request of the customer for an earlier setup time to be arranged with Snap Space, an idle fee of $80 per hour will be applied for idle time and extensive waiting periods. Certain dates may be subject to an additional surcharge such as public holidays or holiday periods.
If the venue requires us to walk a long flight of stairs where there is no access to lifts, an additional fee of $40 will apply. This is due to the time that it will take for Snap Space to load and unload heavy equipments.
Props (if used) must be in 100% condition by the end of the event, otherwise a charge may apply.
GST:
Prices include GST, unless stated otherwise.
PUBLIC HOLIDAY AND HOLIDAY PERIOD SURCHARGES:
Events booked on New South Wales Public Holidays will incur a 10% surcharge. Events booked between the period 24th of December to 2nd of January will incur a 10% surcharge.
CANCELLATION:
AIl initial deposits made are non-refundable. If the customer cancels within 14 days prior to the event, the initial payment can be held in lieu for a future booking. Snap space cannot be held accountable for unforeseen delays at the event venue. Refunds/Deductions will not be made if the customer ends the service booked earlier than the agreed time.
Any requests to change or alter the agreed date/time of the photo booth hire must be made 14 days prior by contacting Snap Space directly via mobile phone or email. These requests will only be approved depending on the availability of the photo booth service. Any cancellation made by the customer, the deposit will not be refunded.
PRIVACY:
Snap Space will not sell, rent or lease the customer's personal information to any third party and will take reasonable measures to ensure that your personal information remains confidential.
DELIVERY, SET UP & PACK DOWN:
The delivery, set up and pack down is free of charge and will be included in the quoted price. The time taken to deliver, set up and remove equipment is performed outside of the rental period. Snap Space will aim to arrive at least one hour prior to the beginning of the hire time set up. In the event of an unforeseen issue that Snap Space is unable to commence at the agreed time due to our fault, Snap Space agrees to give you an extended finishing time of the hire.
In the event that the hire does not start at the agreed time as setup has been delayed due to either the venue not allowing access on time or the customer's event are over running the hire will still end as per the agreed booking time. In the event that the photo booth hire has been set up in time but the hire does not start at the agreed time due to over running of previous activities by yourselves or venue, the hire will still end as per the agreed booking time.
VENUE LOCATION:
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that all details of the venue/location provided are correct. Any incorrect or missing location / address / venue details will not be held responsible for delays by Snap Space. The venue of the event must be accessible for the photo booth service at the agreed time and ensuring that there is a floor area of (L) 3m x (W) 2.5m x (H) 2.4m to operate. The customer must ensure and arrange an electrical power outlet within 5m of the desired booth location. If there is insufficient space for Snap Space to set up, it will be expected that there are delays to set up and will be still charged the full hire amount and no extended time period will be granted. The customer has the responsibility to inform us of any potential circumstances that may make setting up take longer such as: going upstairs where no there is no accessible lifts; long distance from unloading area to set up area; power outlet is not within close proximity to the service area, etc.
If the event is in an outdoor setting, the customer must ensure that the area of the photo booth service will be under protective covering and on a level-concrete like ground surface. In the event that the customer cannot provide appropriate cover, and severe weather conditions occur during an outdoor event, the photo booth service will end; the customer will not receive a refund in part, or in full.
PARKING:
Snap Space will be required to park our vehicle close to the venue given the nature of our service (heavy, fragile equipment). By booking with Snap Space, the customer agrees to pay for the parking expenses (if any). This is to be:
USE OF IMAGES:
The customer agrees to and understands that hiring from Snap Space, gives permission for the images taken at the event to be used on Snap Space website or social media platforms for marketing purposes, unless advised prior to the event by the customer that they wish for their images to remain private and not used by Snap Space for marketing purposes. Snap Space will not use images which are deemed unsuitable on our website or social media platforms and will not use any content which may be personally damaging to any person/s. All images will be kept by Snap Space and an online gallery image will remain available for the customer to view for a period of 30 days. The online gallery will be automatically removed after the 30 day period.
DAMAGES:
The customer is fully responsible for any damages caused by the customer's guests to all equipment provided by Snap Space. In an event the equipment and electronics used during the hire service is damaged due to the customer's guest's behaviour, the customer will be responsible for the repair or replacement of the damaged parts. To prevent damage, the booth attendant has the right to refuse service to any person or to stop the usage of the booth at any time during the event if Snap Space attendants feel that the booth or props is being misused. Food and drinks are not permitted into the photo booths.
HEALTH & SAFETY:
Snap Space takes the safety of all guests and our staff very seriously. The customer has the responsibility to ensure that all guests that attend the event strictly adheres to COVID-19 protocols to ensure to health and safety of our staff and others. Any abusive and/or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated at any time. Snap Space reserves the right to end the hiring service and leave the venue immediately if guests become abusive and our staff feel threatened. In an event of such circumstances whereby the hiring service is to be ended before the end of the agreed hiring time due to abusive and/or aggressive behaviour, the customer will not receive a refund in part, or in full.
INDEMNITY:
Snap Space accepts no responsibility for any injury to person/s during photo booth use. The customer will indemnify Snap Space against any and all liability related to the customer's event and use of Snap Space equipment. Snap Space will not be responsible for venue equipment failure, fire, communication outage or interruption of service; natural disaster and other accidents resulting in disruption to our service.
ADDITIONAL TERMS:
This agreement between the customer and Snap Space is final and shall not be modified expect as agreed in writing by both parties.
In the unlikely event that it is not possible, other than for reasons beyond Snap Space's control, to provide an operational photo booth for at least 50% of the agreed service period, Snap Space shall make a refund to the customer calculated pro rata from the total charge made for the agreed service period.
Where the rental includes a photographic printer and for any reason printed photographs cannot be provided on site at the time of the event, Snap Space will place the photographs on Snap Space website for the customer and their guests to download a soft copy of their photos.
Snap space reserves the right to exclude person/s from the photo booth who they consider to be intoxicated, or is acting in a manner that may damage the photo booth. In the event of this circumstance, the photo booth hire service will be ended immediately and no refund will be granted. Snap Space reserves the right to withhold or remove all or certain props, additional equipments, etc from use if the attendant considers they are damaged, mistreated or continually removed from the photo booth area.
Children are welcome to use the photo booth, but must be supervised by an adult at all times. Snap Space attendants are not responsible for any accidents or injuries that may occur while using the photo booth service. Any damages to the equipment caused by children will be responsible of the person hiring the photo booth and will be liable for any repairs or replacement costs incurred.
Any variations to these Terms & Conditions must be agreed in writing by Snap Space.
